Scribendi, Vol. 39
The University of New Mexico Honors College
08/15/2024 –07/15/2025
I worked as staff on the 39 volume of Scribendi, UNM Honors College literary magazine which solicits submissions from honors students across the United States.
I worked as apart of the Design Committee which directed the over all design, tone, and layout of the literary magazine.
The edition went on the win the 2025 Pacemaker award for excellence in content, design, editing, and visual elements/theme. It is often described as the student Pulitzers.
While apart of the Scribendi staff I collaborated with my peers to redesign and update the Scribendi Media Kit. The objective was the elevate the design and template for future staff, as well as aligning it with Scribendi’s identity as a polished and well designed reputation.
The 2025 media kit was presented to increase the magazines reputation within the Western Regional Honors Council.
Gowden Path Scotland
Personal Project
Fall 2025
Gowden Path Scotland began as an assignment during my time at UNM and evolved into a conceptual project I continue to return to. While Scotland has its fair share of national travel organizations, I found so few focused on areas outside of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The concept behind the project was to develop a frame work to highlight the national beauty and rich cultural landscape of Scotland’s lesser represented communities. For tourists and locals alike, the organization was envisioned to encourage exploration and appreciation in each of the eight major cities of Scotland.
