From June 2024 through December 2025 I supported the University of New Mexico Art Museum as their Communications and Operations Assistant.
Printed Materials
In mid-2025 UNMAM needed a document that highlighted UNMAM’s achievements and impact on the University of New Mexico in recent years. The material needed to be accessible digitally and by print, needing to cover a wide breadth of subjects that the museum contributes to across UNM.

UNMAM At-A-Glance Sheets
The UNM Art Museum’s biggest limitation is their ability to effectively display and discuss the unique stories behind each object of the collection. With over 30,000 pieces of art and only three primary gallery spaces there was a need to find an innovative way to make the art accessible. The Beaumont Newhall Study Room At-A-Glance sheet was that solution. Taking history reporting from study room assistants
I worked with the museum to find a new way to display the information. Instead of simple print outs, the sheets display the artwork in color, providing am easy to digest bullet point list discussing the artist, and an overview about that particular artwork. With a consistent attendance of over 9,000 museum attendees, and over 2,000 study room visitors, the museum needed an easy distribute product that showcased art with a rich history, even when not on full display.
Website Additions
UNMAM Website Additions
The UNM Art Museum’s landing page needed adherence with their establish branding bound by the limitations of their existing web builder.

When designing the webpage the goal was eye catching features. For a landing page to draw in financial donor support while launching new design elements. The clean and professional design was made to inspire trust in the sixty-three year old organization, with each photo selected to feature student and community engagement, student employee impact, and the diversity of art within the collection.

There was also a habit to work in threes. When envisioning this years theme of “A place to imagine, a place to dream, and a place to learn” I’d chosen to follow this throughout the designs for this years promotional items. Through UNMAM’s three main gallery spaces, three major shows, three major categories of student and community impact the move to three consistent categories echoed the spirit of the art museum.
